William Patrick Goss was born in Lawler, Iowa on September 1st, 1861 to parents James Patrick Goss and Mary Plunkett. Here he met and married a woman named Mary Heyberger and started the Goss bloodline on my side of the family. Mary is the daughter of Joseph Heyberger and Catherine Schlick. William spent most of his life as a farmer and together, with Mary, had eight children: Four boys named George, Joseph, William, and Ambrose and four girls named Regina, Mildred, Katheryn, and Mary. William is not shown in the picture above because he died at the early age of 1.
